Teen Titans Go! - Guess Who's Trick-or-Treating?! - Cartoon Network

"Halloween v Christmas" is the second episode of Season 4 of Teen Titans Go! and the one hundred and fifty-ninth episode overall. It first aired on 27 October 2016 on Cartoon Network.

When Santa tries to take over Halloween, it's up to the Titans and a few ghouls to stop him.[1]

On Halloween night, Santa Claus and some of his elves, dressed as mummies, remove every trace of Halloween from Jump City. Meanwhile, Robin tells the Teen Titans their roles in preparing for the trick-or-treaters. Beast Boy and Cyborg are tasked with buying candy while Raven and Starfire decorate. However, they find that the Halloween Store is completely empty. Cyborg becomes upset that they won't be handing out candy, but Beast Boy pulls out a bag of candy from last year's Halloween from his pants which they can hand out. Robin begins to notice the lack of trick-or-treaters and Santa approaches, having overheard that they have candy. He and his elves pull out their stockings but Beast Boy says they forgot to say something. Santa messes up saying "trick-or-treat" and Cyborg corrects him, wondering how he doesn't know that. Raven asks if he's a little old to be trick-or-treating and Starfire asks about the sock-shaped bags. Robin realizes that the trick-or-treaters are actually Santa and his elves and orders the Titans into the T-Car, where they are pursued by Santa in his sleigh.

Santa orders Rudolph to hit them with beams emitted from his nose, but the Titans manage to avoid the blasts. He catches up to the T-Car and two elves jump onto the top of the car and attempt to board. Raven uses her soul-self to knock them off the car when Rudolph hits a tire. Robin presses a few buttons on the T-Car and flies into Titans Tower before fortifying it. Raven and Cyborg believe Santa really wants Beast Boy's bag of candy, but Robin explains he's after the holiday itself as the bag of candy is the last remnant of Halloween. Starfire asks why Santa would want to take over Halloween and Robin explains that as the only holiday looked forward as much as Christmas, its removal would allow Christmas' influence to spread throughout the year. Santa attempts to goad the Titans with presents but Robin tells them it's a trap. He tells Santa they won't give him the bag of candy and to return to the North Pole, but Santa refuses and instead decides to play holiday music to pass the time. Cyborg, unable to take the music, announces he can't help but start decorating for Christmas but Robin has Starfire stop him and tells Beast Boy to call Santa Claus so that they can negotiate.

At the rooftop of Titans Tower, Santa and his elves greet the Titans with weapons though Robin reminds them of their deal: no weapons. After they empty out their pockets, Robin notes the elves' candy canes though Santa asks they leave his hungry elves out of it. The Titans agree and Santa demands that they hand over the candy or he'll take it by force. Raven attempts to attack, but Cyborg and Robin hold her back. After Raven calms down, Robin says they won't give him Halloween but will give him Presidents' Day and has Beast Boy and Starfire deliver George Washington. Santa refuses and Robin has Raven "sweeten the pot" by delivering a leprechaun and Cupid, but he refuses again as the other holidays will bow to him once he has Halloween. The elves aim their candy canes at the Titans, revealing them as weapons and begin firing, but the Titans retreat into the tower.

Robin tells the Titans that their peaceful attempts failed and have one option left: war. Starfire says Santa is too powerful, but Robin reminds her that Halloween is the only holiday that can rival Christmas and that they need to call on all of its strength. Raven says she'll need a pumpkin for the ritual, but Beast Boy asks if a squash will work before pulling one out of his pants. In Raven's room, Raven summons the Halloween Spirit and Robin explains that they need his help. Starfire tells him that Santa is attempting to take over the holiday, and the Halloween Spirit decides to fight him by calling the creatures of the night, summoning the Wolfman, Count Dracula and Frankenstein's monster.

Outside, Santa and his party dance to "Jolly Fat Man" until Robin interrupts and calls the Titans and their allies to fight. Frankenstein's monster manages to knock out Santa's biggest elves while the Wolfman attacks two more. Count Dracula drains Rudolph's blood, Cyborg and Beast Boy attack Santa's last elf, and Starfire and Raven take out the other two reindeer. The Halloween Spirit summons a sword to duel against Santa's sharpened candy cane, but loses the battle. The Halloween Spirit tells the Titans to hand over the candy and Robin reluctantly does so. However, Santa notices that the bag of candy is actually filled with dynamite. Cyborg presses a button and Santa is launched to the North Pole. The Titans and the monsters celebrate their victory with the Halloween Spirit restoring Halloween to Jump City. They board a sleigh resembling Santa's over Jump City where Robin wishes "Merry Halloween to all and to all a scary night."
