"Nose Mouth" is the thirty-sixth episode of Season 1 of Teen Titans Go!, and the thirty-sixth episode overall. It first aired on 8 January 2014 on Cartoon Network.

Raven succumbs to pressure to use her magic to solve problems around the Tower, but becomes more and more evil with each spell, leading her to change not only the Titans, but the entire world.[1]

Robin dreams of a muscular version of himself defeating Control Freak, Killer Croc, Kyd Wykkyd, and Plasmus and rescuing Starfire single-handedly causing him to begin sleep fighting with his staff. He crashes into Cyborg's room and beats the robotic Titan up before entering Beast Boy's room, pounding his box with his staff. However, Beast Boy had taken to sleeping on top of a scratching post, but Robin traps him with the box and cuts down the post with a swipe of his staff. He proceeds to repeatedly whack an unenthusiastic Starfire on her head with the staff before retreating. In her own dream, Raven plays with Butterbean and Sparkleface until she awakens as a result of Robin's attack on her Sparkleface doll.

Azarath Metrion Zinthos

"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

As a result of Robin's sleep-induced attacks, the Titans become sleep-derived and blame him for keeping them up. Robin counters by stating that the others have their flaws, but admits that his sleep fighting is a problem. Starfire suggests to Raven that she should use her dark magic to cast a spell on Robin that prevents him from keeping them up, but she proclaims that using her powers for a useless reason will result in unintended consequences. Cyborg promptly rebuffs her claim and she reluctantly casts a spell on Robin stating they'll discover if it worked the next day.

Beast Boy, Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven happily wake the following morning and spot a sleepless Robin reduced to craziness as a result of a demon slapping him whenever he attempts to sleep. Noting the absence of an unforeseen consequence, Cyborg perform the You Were Wrong Dance while Starfire and Beast Boy vocally sing about Raven's mistake. The half-demon tells her Pretty Pretty Pegasus dolls that they keep her sane in the Tower and plays with them in her room with Silkie reprising his role as Princess Silkiesoft who vomits in response. While attempting to play, Raven is interrupted by Cyborg and teleports into his room to question him. Cyborg informs Raven that he's practicing his boo-yahs, irritating Raven who promptly uses her powers to remove Cyborg's mouth.

Fixed Titans

The Teen Titans after being fixed by Raven.

Cyborg heads to Beast Boy's room in order to inform him of the spell, but the shapeshifting Titan has trouble understanding him. Raven teleports into Beast Boy's room, causing him to discover that Raven had cast a spell on Cyborg and begins to scold her. Raven slowly becomes angered at Beast Boy until she summons a pizza box for lunchtime torturing Cyborg who can't eat his slice. Angered, Beast Boy slaps Raven's pizza out of her hands but realizes his mistake as Raven transforms Beast Boy into a balloon and twists him into the form of a poodle. At the kitchen, Robin, Beast Boy, and Cyborg note Raven's corruption as a result of her powers with Cyborg informing the two (by talking through his nose) that she won't stop until she fixes all of their mistakes and her corruption is the unintended consequence she warned them about. Robin realizes Raven's going to target Starfire next and a shriek confirms the theory as Starfire's long pink hair was transformed into a poofy blonde, terrifying the Tamaranean.

On the tower's roof, Raven summons a storm cloud over Jump City as she continues to play with a humanized Princess Silkiesoft and her Pretty Pretty Pegasus dolls. The other Titans arrive to stop her but she summons a pin to pop Beast Boy and send him flying away. Sleepily, Robin orders the Titans to attack but stumbles and falls off the roof. Claiming that the Titans cannot be fixed, Raven proceeds to eliminate Cyborg and Starfire. However, Starfire realizes that they need to snap Raven out of her demonic form by using her Pretty Pretty Pegasus dolls.

Pretty Pretty Pegasus Titans

Cyborg grabs the couch from the living room and the two hide behind it while they use the dolls to convince Raven into playing with them. Raven attempts to resist the temptation, but gives in and calls off the storm cloud. At the suggestion of Butterbean, Raven turns Beast Boy, Cyborg, Robin, and Starfire into Pretty Pretty Pegasus-styled ponies and proposes a race. Using her powers to give the Titans the ability to fly and boarding the Cyborg pony, Raven leads her friends through the sky.

  • This episode bears many similarities to "Dog Hand".
    • Both episodes feature the dark side of Raven's powers.
    • Both episodes derive their title due to a physical change in Cyborg's appearance and not from the plot of the episode itself.
    • Both episodes have the Titans' physical form altered. However, in "Dog Hand", the Titans willingly allowed for the changes to take place.
  • Running Gags: Raven constantly playing with her Pretty Pretty Pegasus toys. Silkie barfing.
  • Food Content: Cyborg could not eat a slice of pizza due the loss of his mouth and cried as a result. Beast Boy slapped a slice of pizza out of Raven's hands during lunchtime angering him enough to morph him into a balloon.
  • This episode aired with a rerun of "Lazy Sunday".

  • A picture of Batman can be seen next to Beast Boy's box.
  • When Starfire discusses Robin's sleep fighting, Sleep Fighter II is stylized similarly to the game, Street Fighter II's name.
  • The scene where Cyborg cries if he can't eat the pizza because his mouth was removed was a reference to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic episode, "Magic Duel", when Pinkie Pie cries of being unable to eat the cupcake because her mouth was removed.
  • The scene where Robin is in the corner and sleep deprived there is scrawl on the wall that reads "Sleep is a lie" which is a reference to the "The Cake is a lie" scrawl in the Valve Software video game Portal.

  • Starfire's eyebrows are a reddish-pink when Raven attacks her and Cyborg but becomes blonde again once she places the couch on the roof.
  • Raven's voice at the time when she was in her demonic form on the roof of Titans Tower should be demonic, but when Silkie vomited, she said "Silkie!" in her normal voice, despite the fact that she should have used the demonic version.
