Synopsis

Robin eavesdropping

The Teen Titans are annoyed by Robin's eavesdropping.

Starfire is eating breakfast when Cyborg notices that she is sparkling. She explains that she thought she was missing something in her life and it was sparkles. Cyborg asks to be sparkled and Starfire covers him with glue and throws sparkles on him. He suggests adding tassels when Robin reveals himself to be in the kitchen cabinet and reminds them that sparkles and tassels are against costume regulation. He tells them to go on and to act like he isn't there, closing the cabinet door. Starfire and Cyborg enter the living room where Beast Boy, Ann and Raven are on the couch. Starfire asks if Robin is on the kitchen cabinet because he is friends with the cereal, but Beast Boy explains that he's being a creep and eavesdropping. When Starfire doesn't understand, Raven clarifies that he is listening to their conversation like a creep. Ann defends Robin, saying he just wants to listen to the action. Robin exits a drawer and claims he's not being a creep, but is just listening to their personal and private conversations from a secure location because he hates secrets. Robin then thanks Ann for helping the others understand, and he enters the drawer and tells them to start talking as he isn't listening anymore.

Starfire says she isn't comfortable talking and Cyborg suggests mouthing the words. While Beast Boy is talking, Robin emerges from the couch and claims he can still hear them with his eyes. Cyborg mouths something to Robin and he throws a birdarang with soap into his mouth for using filthy language. Ann cringes, saying that was unintended. Robin and Ann dive into the couch while Cyborg explains that all he said was that he liked pizza. Raven says they'll have to live with Robin eavesdropping on their conversations, but Beast Boy mentions that there is another way. The other Titans realize he is talking about the "old tongue" and agree to speak it. Under the couch, Robin says to himself that their plan sounds intriguing. Ann feels confused, but she might want to be in on the action.

Teaching Pig Latin

Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy speak Pig Latin.

Later, Cyborg opens the microwave when Robin greets him. Cyborg greets him in Pig Latin, confusing Robin. Ann follows them to the table where the rest of the Titans speak to her in Pig Latin. Ann and Robin note that it doesn't sound like any of the ancient languages they've studied. However, he notices that they keep referring to him as "Obinray" and assumes it means "Iight Bunz" and plans to use it to decipher their language. At the computer, Robin discovers that "Obinray" doesn't mean buns and begins rearranging the words until he arrives at "Rainboy." He confronts the Titans, who are lounging at the pool with Beat Box, but they tell him in Pig Latin that he's wrong. Robin assumes he's right, but frustrated, pleads that they teach him the language with the promise that he won't eavesdrop again. The Titans agree but after a song, Robin is unable to speak Pig Latin and they leave.

Robin and Ann retreat to his room where he receives a drawing of a pig. They go to the Titans Tower library, but is unable to find anything when a book is thrown at his head with a picture of George Washington and him crossing the Delaware. He notices a pig on board the boat and looks at other pictures where there are pigs hidden at every important event in human history with a symbol. Robin and Ann realize that the "old tongue" is Pig Latin. While the Titans are watching TV, Robin surprises them by speaking Pig Latin, shocking them. He says that they are dealing with a secret society, but Cyborg tells him that they'll stop so long as he doesn't go crazy. Raven, sweating nervously, tells Robin that it's just a fun play language, but Robin notices she is wearing a pin with the symbol. The Titans nervously agree to go to the supermarket and enter the elevator. Robin and Ann check the computer to see where they're going and notices the security camera going static for a moment. They enter the elevator and uncover a button with the symbol. After pressing it, the elevator opens up to a secret room where people, including the other Titans, are bowing.

Pig orders attack

Pigs prepare to attack.

Robin and Ann confront the Titans and Raven reveals that Starfire was the one who planted the clues. Starfire apologizes, but tells him to run when two cloaked figures go after them. The doors are locked, however, and Robin is brought before the Wise One. Robin speaks to him, but Cyborg orders him to speak in the "old tongue." The Wise One says they'll speak in their disgusting language and reveals himself to be a pig. He clarifies however that pigs are actually aliens who manipulated civilization until the time was right that they could take over and then nap. Robin asks the Titans how they could be a part of the plan, but Cyborg says he wasn't paying attention, Starfire says they're cute, Raven claims it didn't sound bad in Pig Latin, and Beast Boy says all he heard was napping. The Wise One orders his piglets to destroy them, but Robin asks that they hear him out and gives a speech in Pig Latin. However, the Wise One orders them to continue attacking. The Titans battle the piglets and ultimately defeat them and the Wise One.

Watched by pig

The Titans laugh at Raven's joke while a pig watches them.

Back at the tower, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Starfire and Raven are sitting on the couch and talking when Cyborg asks about Robin. Nearby, Ann scolds Raven to never join a secret society again and Raven agrees and apologizes. Robin reveals himself to be inside Cyborg and promises that he isn't listening. Raven calls him a creep in Pig Latin and the Titans laugh, oblivious to a pig watching them from behind the couch.
