"Robin Backwards" is the twenty-seventh episode of Season 2 of Teen Titans Go! and the seventy-ninth episode overall. It first aired on 22 January 2015 on Cartoon Network.

Nibor, the Bizarro World's Robin, arrives in Jump City, and the Titans decide they should probably keep an eye on him.[1]

The Teen Titans are in their rooms when Robin announces that he's prepared an ice cream sundae bar in the living room for them. Excited, the four rush to the living room and spot a giant ice cream cone, causing them to cheer for ice cream. However, Robin tips over the ice cream cone, revealing it to be a cardboard cut out. Robin reveals that he tricked the Titans into coming to a meeting and shows them a book he's been working on called The Rules of Robin. The Titans boo at him, but Robin reminds them that they don't know what they're booing and reveals that it's a rule book on how to follow rules. The crime alert blares and Robin promises to read the rest of the rules on the way to the crime scene.

Nibor and Robin

Robin questions why his Bizarro World counterpart, Nibor, is in Jump City.

On their way to the crime scene, Robin finishes reading rule two hundred and thirteen which describes the proper way to eat apples when he notices a figure throwing people out of a building. Beast Boy and Cyborg question the figure's identity and his resemblance to Robin, but Starfire claims that the figure is more handsome than Robin. Robin protests that rule seventy-five lists him as the handsome one and explains to the Titans that the figure is Nibor, his opposite from Bizarro World. Nibor introduces himself by saying goodbye and how it was bad to meet the Titans, offending Beast Boy. Robin explains that since he's from Bizarro World, he's speaking the opposite of what he truly means. He attempts to demonstrate by asking Beast Boy what's the opposite of up, but Beast Boy is unable to understand. Robin turns his attention to Nibor and asks him why he's there. Nibor explains that the Bizarro Titans told him he was a great leader and kicked him out of their tower and is now committed to protecting Jump City. He spots a dog on a leash and beats up the owner for holding him captive. Robin decides that they should take him back to Titans Tower.

Back at the tower, Nibor thanks the Titans for taking him to their ugly home, offending Beast Boy. Raven attempts to remind Beast Boy about the Bizarro Speak, but he is unable to understand. Starfire suggests that they practice conversing with Nibor to better understand Bizarro Speak. During The "Backwards Talk" Game, Cyborg and Starfire are able to comprehend Nibor's speech, but Beast Boy is still unable to comprehend. Robin interrupts by reading more rules from his book, saying that rule seventy-five require superheroes to train three times a day. Nibor volunteers to train and immediately falls asleep on the couch. The other Titans follow Nibor's lead with Starfire cuddling him. Robin tells Nibor that if he wants to stay, he has to follow the rules and Nibor promises to do so.

Party in Robin's room

The Titans have fun following Nibor's rules, upsetting Robin.

As Robin reads his rules, Nibor does the opposite of them. He makes the living room dirty instead of keeping it clean, feeds the Titans junk food instead of healthy produce, and parties after their curfew of 9:00 p.m. The next day, Nibor calls the Titans to the living room in order to partake in three hours of cardio exercise. Robin rushes to the living room only to be told by Starfire that they lied to him about the exercise to get him to the living room and informs Robin that the Titans had decided to make Nibor their leader. Nibor promises to be a cruel and unfair leader as Robin begins to protest only for Beast Boy to interrupt, saying that they like Nibor's rules better. Robin claims that Nibor doesn't have any rules, but Raven tells him to not it take personally just because they like his opposite better. Robin tells the Titans that the reason he has many rules is to draw out the best of them and Nibor becoming team leader would take them backwards. Cyborg tells Robin that he helped him realize something - Nibor is Robin spelled backwards. Robin decides to leave the tower to find a place where he's appreciated.

Angry Bizarro Titans

Robin's praises are misinterpreted as insults because of the opposite speaking language of the Bizarro Titans.

Robin enters the elevator and presses a button of an upside-down tower, taking him to Bizarro World's Titans Tower, which is flipped upside-down. A team meeting is called and the Bizarro World Titans respond to duty. Robin questions why he didn't arrive sooner as they are everything he wanted in his team - the complete opposite of them. Grobyc is quiet, thoughtful, and 99% human, Nevar has a great attitude, smiles a lot, and is into spring fashion trends, Boy Beast is smart, a go getter, and has the ability to change into any boy in the world while Erifrats is the opposite of Starfire. Robin mentions that not everybody is an improvement and Erifrats promises to put him in the friendzone. Robin asks the Bizarro Titans if he can be their leader and they say no, meaning yes. The Bizarro Titans train, and Robin praises them, forgetting that since the Bizarro Titans speak in opposites, his praises are being understood as insults. Robin praises the annoyed Bizarro Titans further and is unable to comprehend their Bizarro Speak as they call him a terrible leader. As he leaves, he says that he loves the Bizarro Titans causing them to think that he hates them. Grobyc and Nevar wonder what to do with Robin and Erifrats claims to have a plan.

Titans and Bizarro Titans fight over Robin

The Teen Titans and Bizarro Titans fight over who gets stuck with Robin.

Back at Titans Tower, the Titans and Nibor are lounging around when Robin and the Bizarro Titans arrive. Nibor is shocked at seeing his old team, and Beast Boy wonders why they've arrived. Robin informs them that the Bizarro Titans wanted them how much they love him as a leader, but realizes that they meant that they hated him when Raven reminds him that they speak in opposites. Nevar pushes Robin to the Titans and demands Nibor back, but Cyborg pushes Robin towards the Bizarro Titans claiming that they don't want him. The Titans and Bizarro Titans toss Robin to and fro until he collapses on the ground after Nibor tells them to stop. Nibor tells the Bizarro Titans that he didn't know they cared little about and apologizes for not leaving. Erifrats that the Bizarro Titans would always hate him and they kiss before he summons their T-Plane, which collapses and drags across the land, to go back home.
