Synopsis

Titan Christmas

The Titans prepare to celebrate Christmas.

On Christmas morning, the Titans Tower has been decorated to celebrate the holidays with a Christmas tree and stockings hung over the fireplace. The time soon turns to eight in the morning causing Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, and Cyborg to instantly wake up and rejoice that it's Christmas. Beast Boy and Cyborg cheer over the fact that Santa ate the cookies and drank the milk while Starfire happily reveals a candy cane was left in her stocking. Robin tells the other Titans to be wary as they have a long day to spend with their presents. The Titans cheer over their presents and act happily disgusted at their Christmas sweaters when Beast Boy notices it's snowing outside. They head outside where Starfire and Cyborg build a snowman while Raven rolls a snowball behind them. Cyborg attaches his head to the snowman and is attacked by a snowball from Beast Boy and Robin. However, his body blasts two giant snowballs on them. Meanwhile, Starfire and Raven make snow angels which Starfire decorates to look like a cat. Using Cyborg as a pair of skis and Beast Boy as a sled dog, the Titans finish celebrating their snow day. Once inside, they happily eat their Christmas dinner and proclaim that they love Christmas.

Immediately the next day, Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven, and Starfire lament over the end of Christmas while Robin happily exclaims that Christmas is over before beginning to tear down the decorations. He lifts the Christmas Tree and tells the other Titans that he planned a heavy workout for the day while Beast Boy attempts to stop Robin, but fails. Starfire reveals that she is going to Tamaran to celebrate the Great Kergoff, a variation of Christmas. Beast Boy angrily claims that the others have to wait three hundred and sixty four days for the next Christmas while Starfire gets a second one. Hearing the words "Second Christmas", Starfire asks if there is another Christmas approaching. An unseen narrator soon states that the legend of Second Christmas was born with those words.

Second Santa

Second Santa.

Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven mischievously look at each other before lying to Starfire about a holiday known as Second Christmas. Raven claims that Starfire does not know about its existence due to her celebrating the Great Kergoff at Tamaran. She asks if Santa returns, but the trio claim that a Second Santa takes his place, describing him as the complete opposite of Santa. Starfire reveals to want to see Second Santa, and the trio state that in order to see him, she must cook another Christmas dinner, buy even more presents for the Titans, and decorate the tower crazier than before. Beast Boy then adds on that Second Santa's arrival will bring a Second Christmas Miracle, selling the story to Starfire. Upon entering the room, Robin is confronted by Starfire who wants to know if Second Christmas exists. He denies the existence of the holiday, but Beast Boy tells Starfire that he's the Second Christmas Grouch, a disbeliever of the holiday who could be avoided if punching him in the face. Starfire proceeds to do so stating she believes in Second Christmas before dancing with the others.

Starfire about to connect plugs

Starfire about to connect the plugs to light up the tower.

Starfire quickly decorates the tower with duplicates of everything including twice the Christmas Trees and lights. She gifts Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven with more presents while Robin watches in annoyance. He leaves to the kitchen where the others sing a tune about Second Christmas before Starfire punches him in the face. The Titans, save Robin, eat their Second Christmas Dinner and exclaim their love for the holiday as the seagull dances on his rock outside. Starfire watches in happiness as she connects plugs together creating a light show out of the tower. Robin claims that the amount of light is too much for the generator and attempts to tell Starfire that there is no Second Christmas. However, she punches him once more claiming the Grouch can't shake her belief. The narrator claims that Starfire should have listened to the Grouch as the generator's power levels reach dangerous levels.

Beast Boy, as a cat, chants and dances on the couch while Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven relax beside him before admitting to having been tired out. Claiming that is has been a great Second Christmas, Beast Boy boards Cyborg and the two head to bed with Raven shortly following. The three soon quickly return upon realizing that Starfire hasn't moved who reveals that she is waiting for Second Santa to bring the Second Christmas Miracle. Beast Boy claims that Second Santa may arrive really late but Starfire claims that she did not miss the most important holiday to her people to not witness the miracle. Raven begins to tell Starfire the truth, but the three find themselves unable to do so and quickly flee while Robin watches with disappointment.

Starbolt powered snowball

Upon learning the truth, Starfire prepares to attack out of rage.

Up on the tower's roof, Starfire is flying the Second Christmas Kite and berates herself for not believing hard enough. The narrator states that despite all the work and belief that she put into Second Christmas, Second Santa would not be arriving. However, a luminous glow of light appears behind Starfire who rejoices until turning around at the sound of Robin's voice. She spots the light to be from the elevator as the guilty Titans are forced by Robin to reveal that there never was a Second Christmas.

Starfire begins to cry, but her tears quickly turn into anger. She summons a volley of snowballs and powers them with her starbolts before throwing them at the Titans. She knocks Beast Boy down with one before confronting Robin who wonders what he did. Starfire exclaims that he's the Grouch and punches him before drowning Raven in a pile of snowballs. She slams a giant snowball on Cyborg who begins rolling, creating an enormous snowball which collects the others before slamming into a wall. Meanwhile, the generator begins to explode due to the immense amount of power it is supporting and creates a blinding light on top of the tower. The Titans mistake the glow to symbolize Second Santa's arrival before the tower explodes.

Titans in hospital

The Titans in the hospital after the tower's explosion.

At the hospital, the Titans and Silkie are lying unconsciously on hospital beds until Beast Boy wakes, asking what happened. Reading the official report, Robin reveals that the generator's explosion left them in comas for three hundred and sixty three days. Raven asks Starfire if she knows what this means, and she claims that she's a fool for believing in Second Christmas. However, Robin reveals it was a Second Christmas Miracle with Beast Boy and Cyborg rejoicing that they didn't have to wait another year for Christmas as Raven states it's Christmas Eve.

Happy 2nd Christmas

Happy 2nd Christmas!

Robin opens a window and wishes the world a Merry Second Christmas before dancing with the other Titans. Outside, the narrator is revealed to be Second Santa who informs that since the Titans believed in him, he granted them their wish of not having to wait for Christmas. Starfire approaches the window and waves at Second Santa in disbelief as he uses the clouds to write Happy Second Christmas in the sky before jetpacking away.
