The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a team of four teenage mutated turtle brothers and an alicorn with the ability to control ice who were trained in the art of ninjutsu by their adoptive rat sensei father, Master Splinter. They were voiced by Greg Cipes and Scott Menville while Elsie was voiced by Deedee Magno Hall.

History

When Robin began forming the Teen Titans, he was dumbfounded when he couldn't find any recruits and turned to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for help as they were popular. He explained that he had advertised the two most important principles: truth and justice, but Michelangelo advised that he instead advertise with pizza which quickly filled the Titans' ranks.[1]

While learning from Robin, Más y Menos noticed that the Titans consumed too much pizza and decided to introduce them to new foods. They took their pizza and ran to an alley along with Ann in Jump City where the turtles and Elsie were hanging and listening to music. They ate chips, practiced ice magic, played on a skateboard, Raphael spung his sai, and Michaelangelo finished spray-painting "Ninja Life" on the wall. Upon seeing the pizza, the turtles cheered while Ann and Elsie reunited once more.[2]

After the Titans became obsessed with pizza and ordered the food frequently, the turtles were deprived of any and had to eat sandwiches, which they found disgusting. During Robin's two-week pizza ban on the Titans, they ordered the world's supply of pizza and hoarded it in their sewer underneath Jump City so as to "take pizza back." Robin eventually lifted the ban, and learned of the shortage which he realized must have been caused by the turtles. The Titans traveled to their home and were allowed entry after they spoke the password, "totally tubular." The turtles explained their reasoning for hoarding the pizza and Robin decreed that the only way to settle things would be a battle. Due to Ann not battling alongside the titans while she was reuniting with Elsie, the turtles and Splinter easily defeated the Titans, but Robin knocked over a pile of pizza boxes to fuel their goofy and random humor. As such, the turtles were defeated and their shells were taken by the Titans for use while they skateboarded. At the end of the episode, Ann and Elsie go for a family flight.[1]
