The tentacled monster is a rampaging monster who attacked Jump City after a week without crime. It proved to be a worthy opponent to the Teen Titans, narrowly defeating them multiple times.

History

After a week without crime, Jump City was attacked by the tentacled monster, drawing the attention of the Teen Titans. The monster's attack excited Robin due to the leader suffering from mission withdrawal; however, the Titans prevented him from facing the threat in the hopes he'll learn how to relax. Robin contacted them (save Beast Boy, who had painted a pigeon green to avoid battle) through their communicators in an attempt to aid them in battle but only succeeded in distracting the Titans as the tentacled monster attacked his teammates. Eventually, Starfire, Raven and Cyborg were ensnared by the monster's tentacles and desperately attempted to reach Robin, but to no avail.[1]

After Robin used a mysterious prism to split the Titans into the five core parts of their personalities, he picked the aspects that would most contribute to his ideal superhero team and defeated the tentacled monster amongst others during their crime-fighting spree.[2]

Physical appearance

The tentacled monster was a gigantic cephalopod with one thick eyelash above one eye in the center of its head with jagged fangs in its mouth. Its torso was pink and the tentacles were multicolored with varying shades of purple and pink scales.
